Coming is IT-20, a cricket tournament, which is being held exclusively for techies in Karnataka. The tournament will give techies a chance to play along side superstars of Indian cricket at Bangalore's KSCA stadium.

Sports authority of Karnataka will conduct the event in association with a private internet video channel Indiatech TV.
In first such an event in the country, 16 teams will take part.
Spread over eight matches in the first round, four in the second round and the final, all the matches will be played in weekends.
The winners of the event that will conclude by the end of September will get a cash prize of Rs 20 lakh and a trophy.

MN Vidyashankar, chairman of the organizing committee, said that the tournament would be conducted at a cost of Rs 5 crore, which will be raised from playing firms that would be directly or indirectly participating in the event as sponsors or advertisers.

Like IPL, IT-20 will also feature quality entertainment. But instead of skimpy dress cheerleaders, we will have Indian artists and performers of all kind.
