Traffic police have made the following parking arrangements in connection with the Independence Day ceremonial parade at Field Marshal Manekshaw parade ground on Friday: Invitees with yellow car passes are requested to use Cubbon Road, enter gate number 1 and park on the western side of parade ground. Invitees with white car passes, secretaries to the government, military officers and senior police officers are requested to use gate number 2 on Cubbon Road, in front of Military Supply Depot, and park on north-eastern side of parade ground. Invitees with pink passes are requested to park at BRV Police Parade Ground (entry is on MG Road) and walk to gate number 1 for entry. Green car pass-holders are requested to park on Kamaraja Road and Main Guard Cross Road and walk to gate number 3 for entry. Vehicles carrying participants will use gate number 3 and park behind the fort wall on the southern side. Government vehicles of PWD, BMP and other departments are requested to use gate number 3 and park behind the participants’ vehicles. Two-wheelers shall be parked on Kamaraja Road and entry will be at gate number 3 on Kamaraja Road. Those who do not have car passes can park their vehicles on Kamaraja Road and use gate number 3 for entry. TRAFFIC DIVERSIONS Traffic will be diverted on Friday from 8.30 am to 10.30 am from BRV junction to Kamaraj Road junction (both directions) on Cubbon Road. Vehicles from CTO circle towards Manipal Centre on Cubbon Road will turn left onto Central Street at BRV junction and move as follows: right at Central Street junction — Infantry Road — left at Safina Plaza — Main Guard Road — Alice Circle — Dispensary Road — Kamaraja Road-Dickenson Road junction — right — KR Road — KR Road junction — left onto Cubbon Road towards Manipal Centre junction. Vehicles from Manipal Centre junction towards CTO junction on Cubbon Road will turn left at KR Road junction towards Cauvery circle — right onto MG Road — right at Anil Kumble circle — left at BRV junction and onwards to CTO circle. Vehicles from Anil Kumble circle towards Cubbon Road will go straight on Central Street junction — Infantry Road — left at Safina Plaze — Main Guard Road — Alice Circle — Dispensary Road — KR Road-Dickenson Road junction — right — KR Roa — KR Road junction — left onto Cubbon Road towards Manipal Centre junction. !
